Topic: Knapping

Summary

Knapping is the process of breaking or chipping a martial with pressure or sharp blows. It is often used to create Arrowheads, Axes, Knives, Saws, and other Blades.

Knapping is usually done on Flint or Obsidian, but can also be done on Glass.

Because of its use in making Blades, Knapping is one of the Martial Arts. Although it can be used to create all sorts of Blades, it is probably associated most strongly (in people's minds) with Archery because of its use in creating Arrowheads for Arrows.
