Topic: Alphabet

Summary

An Alphabet is a type of Script in which the symbols that make up the script roughly represents sounds. (Note that there are non-Alphabet scripts.)

Growning up I mostly used the English Alphabet (which is based on the Latin Alphabet). I also learned the Persian Alphabet when I was young. And learned the Japanese Alphabet (both Hiragana and Katakana as well as some Kanji, although kanji isn't an alphabet) while in High School.

Teaching Alphabets to Babies

A good way of teach an alphabet to a baby is to start off by just saying the alphabet out load. Don't necessarily say it to the baby, just say each letter in the alphabet, in order, out load so that the baby can hear your. Act like you're just saying it to yourself. This will help the baby memorize the alphabet.
